About

Yooju is a licensed and LEED certified architect with twenty years of experience in California and New York. She has worked and managed a broad range of projects from residences in San Francisco / Bay Area, office spaces for Apple Headquarter 2 in Cupertino, PNC headquarter in Pittsburgh, GS branch in San Mateo, academic spaces for Berkeley, CCA, Nueva and CAIS, commercial spaces in San Francisco and LA. 

Prior to starting SPACE/CRAFT, Yooju worked at the office of Leddy Maytum Stacey, Foster + Partners, Gensler and Grimshaw. She has also interned internationally in Denmark, the Netherlands and China. 

Yooju graduated from Yonsei University in Korea with Bachelor degrees in interior design, industrial design and business administration along with a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University in NYC. 

Yooju now lives in Noe Valley, SF with her husband and son. She often visits her hometown, Korea, and she enjoys traveling with her family a lot. She finds inspirations through her travel experiences as well as everyday life with her family and friends.
